A-league side Adelaide United have signed Dutch midfielder Andwele Slory as the club's guest player from early next year, a week after securing Uruguayan Francisco Usucar.
Slory, 28, like Usucar, is only eligible to play for the club from 1 January 2011 under a contract which allows him to play a maximum of 10 games in the season, including finals.
"We were looking for an extra attacker who can play as a winger and bring some speed into the game, also someone with experience and that's what Slory has," head coach Rini Coolen said on Monday.
"I know him from when he played in Holland, he was playing with one of the best clubs in Holland, Feyenoord, and he also played a few games for the national team."
Slory, who made two appearances for the Dutch national team in 2007, has more recently played for Bulgarian outfit Levski Sofia and West Bromwich Albion in England.
