A late own goal helped Saudi Arabia snatch a 1-1 draw with Qatar in their final Group A match to advance to the semi-finals of the Gulf Cup.
Qatar looked to have won the contest with Ibrahim Al Ghanim's header six minutes from time, but an own goal from Hamed Shami in the dying seconds earned Saudi Arabia the point they needed to advance.
In the group's other match, Kuwait enjoyed a convincing 3-0 victory over hosts Yemen to seal top spot in the pool and a place in the last four.
Jarrah Al Ataiqi opened the scoring with a 19th-minute penalty before Bader Al Mutawa made it 2-0 after 34 minutes.
Al Mutawa then sealed the win with his second goal after 68 minutes.
