Guimaraes stage stunning comeback

Trailing by 2 goals with 13 minutes left of regular time, Guimaraes staged an incredible come back to beat Sporting Lisbon 3-2. The victory sees Guimaraes move into second place, ten points behind leaders Porto.

Helder Postiga gave Sporting a dream start when he opened the scoring after 12 minutes, and when Simon Vukcevic netted 18 minutes later it looked as though Sporting and not Guimaraes would be heading into second spot.

But Maniche was sent off the home side with 20 minutes remaining and that paved the way for Guimaraes to start their fightback. Targinho, who came on as a 62nd-minute substitute, scored twice within three minutes (78 and 80 minutes); Bruno Telles clinched the game for Guimaraes  with a minute left on the clock.
