FC Seoul climb to K-League summit

FC Seoul dislodged Jeju United at the top of the K-League on Wednesday following a 2-1 win over Seongnam Chunma.

Lee Sung-yeol put the capital side ahead after 11 minutes but Cho Dong-geon equalised just six minutes later. However, Jung Jo-gook scored for the second successive game just before the half-hour mark to seal the three points and send his side to the top of the standings.

FC Seoul have 59 points after 27 games and are one point ahead of Jeju.

Meanwhile, Pohang Steelers claimed a comfortable 3-0 win over Gyeongnam. Kim Hyung-il put the hosts ahead after 12 minutes before Brazilian forward Mota added a second 10 minutes before half-time. Seol Ki-hyeon then wrapped up the scoring with his side's third just after the hour.

Goals from Kim Young, Seo Dong-hyun and Nam Ahn-sung gave Gwangon FC an impressive 3-1 win at Incheon United, whose consolation goal came from Samir Bekric.

Jose Ortigoza grabbed a brace as Ulsan Horang-I secured an emphatic 5-0 win over Daegu FC. Ko Chang-hyun, Kim Shin-wook and Carmelo Valencia scored the other goals in the rout.

Elsewhere, Jung Shung-hoon's 53rd-minute strike handed Busan I'park a 1-0 win over third-placed Jeonbuk Motors while Song Jung-hyun scored the only goal of the game as Chunnam Dragons edged Gwangju Sangmu 1-0.

Finally, Hwang Jae-won cancelled out Fabio Lopes' goal as Suwon Bluewings drew 1-1 with Daejeon Citizen.
