Al Ittihad held, Al Shabab win

Saudi League leaders Al Ittihad were held to a 1-1 draw against Al Qadisiya on Friday. Al Ittihad took the lead after three minutes through Naif Hazzazi but Al Qadisiya equalised through Nigerian striker Jhon Jambo five minutes before the break.

Elsewhere, 2010 AFC Champions League semi-finalists Al Shabab claimed a 4-3 win against Al Wahda. Korea Republic midfielder Song Chong Gug gave Al Shabab the lead after just two minutes before Brazilian midfielder Marcelo Camatcho made it 2-0 on 16 minutes and Nasser Al Shamrani scored the third goal six minutes later.

Al Wahda pulled a goal back on 37 minutes through Mohannad Assiri. Assiri also claimed the second goal after 53 minutes from the penalty spot. Brazilian midfielder Felipe Campos made it 3-3 a few minutes later. Al Shabab managed to grab all three points as Naji Majrashi scored a penalty in the first minute of stoppage time. The day's other game between Al Taawon and Al Fateh finished 0-0.
