Nigeria leave out skipper Yobo

Nigeria captain Joseph Yobo and England-based defender Danny Shittu have been left out of next month's friendly against Iran in Teheran.

Yobo, who is on loan to Fenerbache from Everton, and Shittu, are not part of a 20-man squad of 12 players from Europe and eight from the domestic league for the 17 November fixture.

Shittu, who featured for new club Millwall at the weekend, was also left out of the Super Eagles' 2012 Nations Cup qualifying match in Guinea earlier this month.

Ukraine-based midfielder Sani Kaita has been recalled after his dismissal against Greece at the recent FIFA World Cup™ in South Africa.

Caretaker coach Austin Eguavoen has also picked three uncapped players, namely Siena defender Michael Odibe, Lecce striker Edward Ofere and Valerenga midfielder Fengor Ogude.
