Iraq concluded their preparations for the upcoming West Asian Football Federation Championships after coming from behind to beat Oman at Amman International Stadium.

The hosts opened the scoring three minutes before the break through Hassan Rabia before Samal Saeed equalised for Iraq two minutes after the hour mark with an overhead kick.

Iraq then took the lead for the first time after 67 minutes after Nashat Akram's free-kick found the back of the net before Ahmad Mnajed scored the third goal for the visitors barely a minute later.

Oman should have pulled a goal back in the 75th minute but Mansour Al Noaimi missed from the spot but Osama Hadid did net a second goal for Oman with two minutes remaining.

The match was the last for both teams before the 2010 WAFF Championship get under way next Friday.

Oman have been drawn in Group A along with Iran and Bahrain while Iraq will contest Group C with Yemen and Palestine.
