Rubin Kazan have strengthened their squad by signing attacking midfielder Carlos Eduardo from Hoffenheim on a four-year deal.
The Russian champions will reportedly pay the German club €20m over 18 months for the 23-year-old, who has played four friendlies for Brazil.
"Eduardo is a very fast player with a precise pass," said Rubin coach Kurban Berdyev, who personally went to Germany to sign the player. "He's able to play in different positions, and I believe he will strengthen us."
Carlos Eduardo started his professional career in Gremio in 2007, just a month before Hoffenheim lured him from Porto Alegre. He played 80 matches and scored 18 goals for the Germans.
