Striker Mark Bridge has signed a two-year extension to his current deal with Sydney FC.
The 24-year-old scored nine times last season, including during Sydney's A-League Grand Final triumph over Melbourne Victory, and has made 44 appearances for the club.
"We are the reigning champions and we have a good set-up here with some good young players coming through," said Bridge.
"We have everything here and I'm more than happy. I believe our coaching staff is probably the best in the league and with the players here I can improve over the next two seasons.
"We had a great year last year but I am, and I know all of the boys are, hungry for more. It is a great environment to be in here.
"I never thought of leaving Sydney FC. The question isn't 'why would I stay' but more 'why would I go?' We have worked really hard this pre-season and I am just now ready to get out there and play."
