Thierry Henry set up two goals for Juan Pablo Angel but the New York Red Bulls had to settle for a 2-2 draw with 10-man Houston Dynamo in the French star's first Major League Soccer match.

Henry's passes put through Colombia's Angel in the 10th and 58th minute, and he managed two shots on goal and saw another smack off the crossbar in the 42nd minute but the former Barcelona star was unable to help his new side to victory as Houston's Brian Mullan grabbed an equaliser in the 89th minute to give the home side a draw.

The Red Bulls opened the scoring through Angel in the 10th minute but the Dynamo equalised through a Brad Davis penalty kick in the 24th minute.

Davis missed the oppportunity to give Dynamo the lead when they were awarded a second penalty kick in the 39th minute, before Houston's Lovel Palmer was sent off in the 44th minute, leaving his side a man down for the second half.

Angel's second goal put the Red Bulls 2-1 in front around the hour mark but Mullan's late strike was to deny the visitors a win.
