A last-gasp goal from Henri Bienvenu saw Young Boys retain their three-point lead at the top of the Swiss Super League with a 2-1 win over St Gallen.

Nico Abegglen had put St Gallen ahead but Mauro Lustrinelli responded for the hosts just before the interval and Bienvenu then struck in injury time.

Second-placed Basle kept up the pressure with two games remaining in the season as they won 3-0 at Aarau.

Goals from Scott Chipperfield and Valentin Stocker put the visitors ahead before Aarau had Giuseppe Aquaro sent off. Substitute Jacques Zoua then sealed the win in stoppage time.
