Shenzhen Ruby suffered their first defeat of the Chinese Super League season as a Mohammed Kallon brace helped Shaanxi Chanba to a 3-2 win today.
Kallon opened the scoring in the 16th minute from the penalty spot before adding a second nine minutes before the break. Shenzhen battled back after the break as Lin Yuan's 62nd-minute strike halved the deficit and Xuri Zhao's own goal looked to have rescued a point.
However, Lyle Martin scored with one minute remaining to secure Shaanxi's first win of the season. Dalian Shide also picked up their first win of the campaign with a 3-2 victory at Changsha Ginde. Wang Zuan-hong opened the scoring for the visitors after 14 minutes before Wen Huyi levelled in the 45th minute.
Zhang Chenglin put Changsha ahead just before the hour mark but goals from Porfirio Lopez and Ahn Jung-hwan ensured Dalian left with all three points. Elsewhere, Qingdao Jonoon and Jiangsu Sainty drew 1-1.
