Panathinaikos extended their lead at the top of the table to five points with a 1-0 win at 10-man Asteras Tripoli on an ill-tempered night of Greek Super League action that saw seven red cards dished out.
Loukas Vyntra got the only goal of the game for the visitors after 72 minutes before their hosts had Sokratis Fitanidis sent off four minutes later for a second bookable offence.
Pana's closest challengers, PAOK Salonika, suffered a blow as they were beaten 2-0 at local rivals Aris Salonika as Javier Campora grabbed both goals. PAOK also had Miroslaw Sznaucner and Adelino Vieirinhasent off late on.
Ten-man Levadiakos came from a goal down to claim a 2-1 victory over eight-man FC Xanthi.
The visitors had taken the lead through Mugurel Buga but the visitors had Mauro Poy and Giannis Papadimitriou sent off following an ill-tempered passage of play that also saw the home side's Giannis Alexiou see red.
Giorgos Barkoglou then struck twice in the last two minutes for Levadiakos, while Xanthi were reduced to eight as substitute Pantelis Rizogiannis received his marching orders.
Elsewhere there were 1-0 wins for Larissa and Panionios, over Ergotelis and Panthrakikos respectively.
