Ghana's FIFA U-20 World Cup-winning coach Sellas Tetteh has been confirmed as the coach of Rwanda.

The appointment comes a day before the qualifying draw for the 2012 CAF Africa Cup of Nations in Lubumbashi, Congo DR, with the new boss expected to help the Wasps mount a strong assault on qualifying for the tournament for the first time since 2004.

Tetteh, who has been coaching local Ghanaian side Liberty Professionals in recent months, has signed a two-year deal with the east African country. He will also be in charge of the Rwandan U-20s. The country has been without a coach since Croatian Branko Tucak was dismissed late last year.
