Porto keep pressure on leaders Benfica

Porto closed to within seven points of league leaders Benfica with a comfortable 3-0 win over struggling Naval at Estadio do Dragao. Jesualdo Ferreira's side led 1-0 at half-time thanks to a goal from Tomas Costa before Radamel Falcao and Silvestre Varela made sure of the win with goals late in the second half.

At the other end of the table, Olhanense claimed just their third win of the season as they defeated Nacional 1-0 to move out of the relegation zone. Substitute Vitor Manuel Toy grabbed the winner in injury time to give the Algarve club real hope that they can beat the drop.

In a battle between two mid-table sides Pacos Ferreira came from a goal down to beat Guimaraes 2-1. Brazilian centre-back Valdomiro had put the home side ahead in the 17th minute, but Maciel Ozeia grabbed the leveller 12 minutes later with Araujo Maykon grabbing the winner in the second half.

Gama brace
Bruno Gama bagged both goals to help Rio Ave beat Leixoes 2-0. The winger put the hosts ahead after 71 minutes before sealing the victory with his second in the 80th minute.

A 21st-minute effort from Pinheiro Kleber was enough to enable Maritimo to defeat Uniao Leiria in the day's other game.
