League leaders Benfica were held at Vitoria Setubal as both the day's Liga Sagres matches ended in surprising results.

Marc Zoro's own goal handed Benfica, three points clear of second-placed Braga at kick-off time, a 14th-minute lead - only for David Luiz to return the favour seven minutes before half-time.

Vitoria had Fernandes Neca sent off in the last minute, but the draw lifted them out of the relegation zone.

Academica won 2-1 at fourth-placed Sporting to move five points clear of the drop zone.

Rui Orlando put them in front inside three minutes and, after Joao Moutinho levelled the scores midway through the first half, Joao Ribeiro restored Academica's lead shortly before the hour mark.
