IFK Gothenburg came from behind to claim a 2-2 draw at home to Halmstad, although the dropped points could prove costly in the race for the Allsvenska title.
The hosts were trailing at the interval to first-half goals from Emir Kujovic and Jonas Saevarsson, but a Tobias Hysen double in the 53rd and 77th minutes rescued a point for IFK. They return to the top of the table on goal difference, though nearest challengers AIK have a game in hand with just one round remaining.
Kalmar moved within a point of third-placed Elfsborg with a thrilling 5-4 victory over Malmo. A last-minute goal from Abiola Dauda snatched the win for Kalmar, who twice had to come from behind.
Ricardo Santos had given the hosts an early lead but Malmo hit back with a brace from Daniel Larsson and an Edward Ofere effort. Dauda and Daniel Sobralense brought Kalmar back on level terms, but Ofere struck once more to put Malmo in the driving seat.
However, Sobralense evened things up five minutes from time before Dauda sealed an unlikely victory in the dying seconds.
