Dynamo Kiev midfielder Oleksandr Aliyev has extended his contract with the Ukrainian Premier League leaders by two years, the club has announced.
Aliyev's contract was due to expire in the summer, but he has now committed to stay at the club until 2011.
"It's a decision I thought about carefully," said the 24-year-old Ukraine international. "I'm happy at Dinamo, a club which plays at a very high level. That's why there was no reason to change things."
Dinamo lead the Ukrainian top flight by 12 points from second-placed Shakhtar Donetsk, who they will meet over two legs in the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup.
