Nigerian striker Ouwo Moussa Maazou has joined CSKA Moscow from Belgian side Lokeren, the Belgian club have confirmed.
The clubs reached agreement in principle on a move in January and with the Russian transfer window closing on Thursday, a five-year deal has now been finalised. Moussa Maazou, 20, joined Lokeren in January last year and was under contract until 2013. He has scored 14 goals this season to be second-top scorer in the Belgian league.
Paris Saint-Germain also made an approach but the Belga news agency said CSKA had pipped them with a bid of five million euros.
