Sydney FC striker Mark Bridge has completed a move to China's Tianjin Teda on a short-term deal to play in the AFC Champions League.
Bridge, 23, had a medical examination in China on Tuesday and will be on loan to the Chinese Super League side for the next four months before rejoining Sydney FC in July.
The AFC Champions League kicks off next month. Bridge is likely to line up against the A-League's Central Coast Mariners in Tianjin in the second group match of the competition on 18 March.
Earlier in the day, Newcastle Jets announced that they had signed Adelaide United's international defender Angelo Costanzo on a one-year deal.
Costanzo, 32, will join the Jets once Adelaide have completed their 2009 A-League finals campaign, the Jets said.
Costanzo, who played six times for Australia, was a key member of the Adelaide side that reached the A-League grand final in 2006/07 and the AFC Champions League final in 2008.
