Paris Saint Germain coach Paul Le Guen said Serbian international Mateja Kezman would be punished after throwing his shirt on the Parc des Princes pitch in anger when being substituted against Bordeaux last night.
Bordeaux qualified for the League Cup final with a convincing 3-0 thrashing of PSG and Le Guen's disappointment at losing was compounded by Kezman's behaviour.
"That was a lack of respect for the club," Le Guen said. "I am a member of this club and so I also think it was a lack of respect for me. This is the first time that such a think has happened to me as coach. He will be punished."
Just after missing a great chance, Kezman threw his shirt to the ground after being substituted by Fabrice Pancrate in the 64th minute, and went directly to the changing rooms.
Bordeaux will meet minnows Vannes in the 25 April final at the Stade de France, after the Ligue 2 side beat Nice on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
