West Ham on Friday announced they had signed Czech international midfielder Radoslav Kovac from Russia's Spartak Moscow on loan until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old, who was Spartak skipper, played at the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ and EURO 2008 and has made 14 appearances in the UEFA Champions League.
"I am pleased to have Radoslav here," West Ham manager Gianfranco Zola told the club's official website.
"He has a lot of experience with his national team and he will give us competition in midfield. I'm sure he will help us with what we are trying to achieve this season."
