Two second-half goals gave Houston Dynamo a 2-0 victory over Philadelphia Union in Friday's sole Major League Soccer encounter at the BBVA Compass Stadium. Will Bruin gave the hosts the lead six minutes after the restart and a Ray Gaddis own goal in the final minute made sure Houston sealed all three points.

Houston go level on 25 points with eighth-placed Chicago Fire in the Eastern Conference, while Philadelphia missed the opportunity to move into fourth place above New York Red Bulls.
