Fenerbahce manager Aykut Kocaman has resigned, the club have announced.
The Istanbul giants confirmed in a brief statement on their website that the 48-year-old's resignation had been accepted by the club's board of directors. No reason for the decision was given.
Kocaman, a former Turkey forward, succeeded Christoph Daum as Fener boss in June 2010 and guided the team to the Super Lig title in his first season in charge.
Their city rivals Galatasary have won the league for the last two seasons, though, with Fenerbahce finishing this season ten points off the pace in second.
They did reach the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League, though, where they lost to Benfica.
