FC Sion maintained their 100 per cent winning start in the Swiss Super League with a 3-0 triumph at Lucerne. Xavier Margairaz put the visitors on their way to a third league win from as many games when he opened the scoring in the 29th minute.
But it was not until late on when victory was assured as former Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty and Serey Die both scored in stoppage time to seal an ultimately comfortable victory and hand Lucerne their first defeat of the season.
Lausanne Sports cruised to their first victory with a 5-1 thrashing of Servette, who slumped to their third successive loss. First-half goals from Sekou Sanogo (24) and Malonga Ntsayi (45) saw the hosts take control after they had fallen behind to Guillaume Katz's own goal.
Jocelyn Roux struck seven minutes after the interval to give Lausanne a cushion while Moussilou (64) ended the game as a contest and Sanogo got his second five minutes later to seal a comprehensive success.
Young Boys were also clinical, condemning FC Thun to a 3-0 defeat. Christian Schneuwly broke the deadlock in the 31st minute and Christoph Spycher's penalty two minutes later put Young Boys in charge before Emmanuel Mayuka's strike nine minutes after the break ensured there was no way back for Thun.
