Lucerne stretched their lead at the top of the Super League to six points with a 2-0 win over Sion thanks to a penalty in each half.

Hakan Yakin scored the first spot-kick in the 19th minute, then, after he had been substituted, Michel Renggli converted the second in the 90th minute.

It extended Lucerne's lead over Young Boys, who beat FC Zurich yesterday to leapfrog Sion into second, to six points after ten games.

Elsewhere, substitute Haris Seferovic's 75th-minute goal gave Neuchatel Xamax a 1-0 win at Grasshoppers, while Lausanne Sports and Servette played out a goalless draw.
