Two goals by Tobias Hysen guided IFK Goteborg to a 2-0 victory over Syrianska FC as they reclaimed top spot in the fledgling Swedish Allsvenska table.

Hysen opened the scoring after 32 minutes before getting a second 12 minutes after half-time to secure the win as Goteborg replaced Malmo at the head of the league with 10 points from four games.

Helsingborgs moved up to fourth with an emphatic 4-1 win at IFK Norrkoping.

The game was goalless until five minutes before the break but two goals in five minutes from Robin Simovic (40) and Walid Atta on the stroke of half-time gave the visitors a clear lead.

The game was over as a contest when Alejandro Bedoya struck three minutes after the resumption with Mattias Lindstrom getting a fourth on the hour.

Christopher Telo (72) pulled one back but it was a mere consolation.

Defending champions IF Elfsborg claimed their fourth straight stalemate with a 1-1 draw at Kalmar FF.

Pape Diouf put the hosts ahead just before the hour with Lasse Nilsson equalising after 71 minutes.

Jon Jonsson was sent off for the visitors in the final minute as their poor season continued.

A Kristian Haynes goal after 62 minutes earned Mjallby AIF a 1-0 victory over Gefle IF.

Djurgarden and Brommapojkarna shared a 1-1 draw. Amadou Jawo put the hosts ahead (26) before Andreas Eriksson equalised with eight minutes to go.
