Spanish La Liga side Almeria have announced they have agreed a deal to bring Thailand international forward Teerasil Dangda for next season.

Teerasil, who will become the first Thai to play in Spain, will initially arrive on loan from Muang Thong United in his homeland, but Almeria will have an option to buy the player outright.

The 25-year-old has already has already had a trial period in Spain with La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid back in 2012 and also spent time training with Manchester City in England.

However, it is no guarantee that Teerasil will be playing top-flight football next season as Almeria currently lie 16th, just two points above the relegation zone.
