La Liga side Hercules Alicante will give ten young Japanese players a trial under a two year agreement it signed today with Japanese firm Ramzes.
The players will take part in training sessions over a 15 day period with the reserve and youth teams, it said in a statement. At the end of this trial the club may decide to sign some of the players, it added.
The newly promoted side lie in 10th place in the league after it holding Villarreal to a 2-2 draw at home on Monday. It has eight points after seven matches, nine points adrift of leaders Real Madrid.
Powered by on-loan Real Madrid midfielder Royston Drenthe, veteran striker David Trezeguet and Paraguayan international Nelson Valdez, the club has already beaten Barcelona and Sevilla this season.
