Hulk was again on the mark to help Zenit St. Petersburg continue their perfect start to the new Russian Premier League season with victory over FC Ufa.

The Brazil forward made it four goals in four league games this season with a 31st-minute penalty to earn Zenit a 1-0 triumph over the top-flight newcomers.

Zenit's fourth successive victory moves them three points clear of CSKA Moscow at the summit, with the defending champions in action against city rivals Spartak on Sunday.

In Saturday's other game, one of the other promoted clubs, Torpedo Moscow, picked up their first win of the campaign after beating Ural 2-0 away from home.

Torpedo were thrashed 8-1 by Zenit in their previous away match, but had a much better time of it in Yekaterinburg as second-half goals from substitute Alexey Pugin (73) and Vladimir Rykov (90) earned them the win.
