CSKA Moscow closed the gap on Russian Premier League leaders Zenit St. Petersburg to one point thanks to a 3-1 away win against Amkar Perm.
Alan Dzagoev opened the scoring for the visitors in the 39th minute but Georgi Peev ensured the home side went level on the stroke of half-time. However, Zoran Tosic (55) and Seydou Doumbia (82) scored after the break to claim victory and close the gap on Zenit, although the leaders still have a game in hand.
Elsewhere, Dynamo Moscow held off Rostov to claim a 3-2 victory. Aleksei Ionov scored twice inside 17 minutes, with Aleksandr Kokorin (68) looking to have sealed a comfortable win before Artem Dzjuba (75) and Yoo Byung-soo (85) scored to set up a nervy finish.
In the other game, Krasnodar claimed a 1-0 win at Volga Nizhny Novgorod thanks to Ari's 15th-minute effort.
