Spartak Moscow missed the chance to overhaul Zenit St Petersburg in the Russian Premier League standings as Anzhi Makhachkala scored a last-minute goal to claim a point in the 2-2 draw on Monday.

Alberto Costa (20) and Jose Manuel Jurado (23) gave Spartak a 2-0 lead at half-time, but second-half goals from Alexandru Epureanu (52) and substitute Serder Serderov (90), who scored in his second minute on the pitch, saw the points shared.

The result leaves Spartak one point adrift of second-placed Zenit, while Anzhi remain bottom of the pile.

In the other game, Wanderson scored an 88th-minute leveller to cancel out Kirill Panchenko's 60th-minute effort as Tomsk drew 1-1 against Krasnodar.
