Jesualdo Ferreira has agreed to stand down as manager of Portuguese side Sporting Braga after a run of disappointing results.
The 67-year-old returned last summer for a second spell at the club, having previously been in the job from 2003 until 2006.
But to date this season Braga have managed just eight wins against nine defeats and three draws leaving them in seventh position. On Sunday they were held to a 2-2 draw at home by lowly Arouca.
Ferreira is one of the most experienced coaches in Portugal having been in charge of all three of the the country's biggest clubs: Porto, Benfica and Sporting Lisbon.
