Porto, Benfica win to maintain distance

Porto remain four points clear of Benfica at the top of the Liga table after both sides won tonight. Porto were 3-0 winners over Beira Mar, while Benfica drubbed Maritimo 4-1.

Hulk scored twice for Porto, netting either side of the break with one from the penalty spot, with Marc Janko scoring in between.

Nolito netted a brace for Benfica to put them 2-0 up and, although Leocisio Sami pulled one back, they pulled clear through Rodrigo Moreno and Bruno Cesar.

The day`s other game saw Guimaraes shade Uniao Leiria 3-2. El Arbi Soudani put them ahead but Bruno Moraes levelled, only for Bruno Tellese to restore the lead. But Jorge Djaniny equalised again, leaving Soudani to win it with four minutes left.
