Henning Berg has been named as the new manager of Legia Warsaw.

The former Manchester United defender will assume control of the Polish side on 1 January in what will be his first job since being sacked by Blackburn.

Berg lasted just 57 days in charge of the club with whom he won the Premier League title as a player.

Warsaw will be the 44-year-old's fourth job, following on from Lyn, Lillestrom and Rovers.
