Jeonbuk Motors remained a point clear of Pohang Steelers at the top of the South Korean K-League standings after both clubs picked up away victories on Saturday.

Jeonbuk were convincing 3-0 winners at Seongnam Chunma, Goncalves Kaio giving them a 16th-minute lead before second-half strikes from Han Gyowon and Lee Sanghyup completed the triumph.

Defending champions Pohang had a much tougher task against Sangju Sangmu Phoenix, though, and needed two goals in the last six minutes from Kang Sooil and Kim Seungdae to claim a 2-0 win.

In Saturday's other match, Ulsan Hyundai beat Chunnam Dragons 1-0 with Yang Donghyun netting the only goal of the game on the stroke of half-time.
