Jeonbuk Hyundai scored five times in the final 26 minutes to thrash Sangju Sangmu Phoenix 6-0 and move back into second place in the K-League standings. There appeared little sign of the drama to come as the game passed the hour mark with Jeonbuk only leading by Lee Donggook's 18th-minute strike.
However, Han Gyowon's 64th-minute effort opened the floodgates with Jeonbuk adding further goals from Lee Seung-ki (66), Kaio (79 and 90) and Leonardo (85) to seal a comprehensive victory. The triumph sees Jeonbuk reclaim second spot back off Chunnam Dragons, who won on Saturday, and remain two points behind leaders Pohang Steelers.
Pohang also won on Sunday, beating Busan I'Park 2-0 with second-half goals from Kang Sooil and Shin Kwanghoon.
