Substitute forward Jin Hanato scored with only one minute left on the clock to give the Yokohama Marinos a 2-1 win over Kawasaki Frontale on Saturday, cementing their lead at the top of the J.League.
Hanato cashed in on a corner from Shunsuke Nakamura, who had also set up the first goal for Seitaro Tomisawa in the 45th minute before Yusuke Tanaka made it even for Kawasaki in the 66th.
Unbeaten Yokohama have 18 points from six straight wins and lie above Omiya Ardija on 14 points and Urawa Red Diamonds on 13 points, followed by Nagoya Grampus and Kashima Antlers on 11 points each.
Ten-men Omiya defeated Cerezo Osaka 2-1 thanks to Slovenia international striker Zlatan Ljubijankik's decider in the 85th minute, while Urawa will play Shonan Bellmare on Sunday.
Japan international striker Keiji Tamada opened the scoring to lead Nagoya to a 2-0 win over Albirex Niigata, while Yuya Osako hit a 14-metre grounder in the 90th minute to give Kashima a 3-2 win over Oita Trinita.
In other games, Ventforet Kofu upset Kashiwa Reysol 3-1, Vegalta Sendai defeated FC Tokyo 2-1, and Shimizu S-Pulse downed Jubilo Iwata 1-0.
