Korea's Bae to join Vissel Kobe

Korea Republic U-22 international striker Bae Chun-Suk has agreed to join J.league side Vissel Kobe, club officials said today.

The 21-year-old centre forward arrived in Japan today and he is expected to sign a contract after a medical before joining the team tomorrow. "I will do my best to help the team win. I also try to score goals," said Bae in a statement.

The club officials did not reveal the terms of the contract with the Soongsil University student. Bae, who first joined the national team in 2005, also played for Pohang Steelers U-18 team. Struggling Kobe are currently ranked 15th in the 18-team top league.
