Leaders lose, Gamba waste chance

J.League leaders Kashiwa Reysol slipped to a 3-2 defeat at Kawasaki Frontale, despite battling back from two goals down.

Kawasaki were 2-0 up at the break thanks to goals from Takuro Yajima and Yu Kobayashi, but an own goal from Kosuke Kikuchi nine minutes after the break let the visitors back in it.

Leandro Domingues completed the comeback after 71 minutes, but Juninho struck from the spot six minutes from time to earn his side all three points.

It means Yokohama F Marinos, one point behind Kashiwa in second, can go top tomorrow when they face Omiya Ardija.

Goals galore as Gamba slip
Gamba Osaka let 2-0 and 3-2 leads slip to lose 4-3 at Vantforet Kofu. Goals from Lee Keun-Ho and Shoki Hirai put the visitors in control, before Mike Havenaar and Toshihiko Uchiyama struck back.

Sota Nakazawa put Gamba back in the lead after 66 minutes, but Paulinho levelled from the spot two minutes later and Havenaar struck the winner two minutes after that.

Naohiro Takahara struck the winner in the last minute as Shimizu S-Pulse came from behind to beat Albirex Niigata 2-1. Shinji Ono had struck from the spot to cancel out Naoki Ishikawa's fifth-minute opener.

In the day's other game, goals from Ryosuke Matsuoka, Popo, Park Kang-Jo and Yoshito Okubo gave Vissel Kobe a 4-1 win over Cerezo Osaka, who replied through Kim Bo-Kyung.
