Korea Republic international striker Lee Keun-Ho has signed for J-League outfit Jubilo Iwata, club officials have announced.
The 23-year-old forward, who has been playing in the Asian Zone qualifying round for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™, has scored eight goals in 19 games for the national side. His contract will run from 2 April to 1 January next year, officials said.
"I'm ready to join the team as soon as possible and impress with my performance on the pitch. I'll do my best to help Iwata win the title," Lee was quoted by the officials. "I'm going to greet Iwata supporters by scoring the first goal," added Lee, who left the K-League's Daegu FC at the end of last season.
Iwata were J-League champions in 1997, 1999 and 2002, but have struggled in recent years, finishing 16th last season, and sit bottom of the 18-team league without a win this season.
