Doblas covers Napoli keeper concerns

Napoli have signed Spanish free agent Toni Doblas on a contract running until the end of the season amid a growing goalkeeping crisis.

The Italian Serie A club have fitness concerns over on-loan Liverpool keeper Jose Reina and are without Rafael Cabral for the rest of the campaign after the Brazilian damaged anterior cruciate ligaments against Swansea City last week.

A statement published on the club's official website confirmed 33-year-old Spaniard Doblas had passed a medical at Napoli's Castelvolturno training base on Thursday afternoon.

The former Real Betis and Real Zaragoza keeper most recently had his 18-month contract with Azerbaijani club Khazar Lankaran terminated one year early.
