Slovenia goalkeeper Samir Handanovic has extended his contract with Italian side Udinese for a further four years.
The 27-year-old's last deal was due to expire at the end of the coming season but he is now tied down until June 2016.
Handanovic joined Udinese in 2004 and following loan spells at Treviso, Lazio and Rimini, established himself as first choice shot-stopper in 2007.
He made his Slovenia debut in 2004 and was No1 for his country at last year's FIFA World Cup™ in South Africa.
While on loan at Rimini in 2006/07 he was voted second behind Juventus' Gianluigi Buffon in the Serie B goalkeeper of the year award.
