Palermo have signed Slovenian defender Sinisa Andelkovic from Maribor, the third arrival at the Sicilians from the same club in under four months.
The 24-year-old joins countrymen Armin Bacinovic and Josip Ilicic, who both joined the Italians in August after playing against them for Maribor in the UEFA Europa League.
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini and Maribor sporting director Zlatko Zahovic, a former Slovenia striker, both confirmed the sale. Andelkovic has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal and will be available to play from next month.
Zamparini said he will make another signing during the January transfer window but refused to say who, although Italian press reports claim it will be another raid on Maribor for 21-year-old midfielder Jasmin Kurtic.
