German champions Bayern Munich could be without French playmaker Franck Ribery for the foreseeable future after he picked up another injury today.
Ribery, 27, limped out of Bayern's 1-1 draw at Wolfsburg in obvious pain after only 22 minutes following a tussle with Wolfburg's Brazilian Josue and Bayern confirmed the Frenchman had injured his left knee. "There will be a precise diagnosis on Sunday or Monday," said coach Louis van Gaal.
The Frenchman has missed almost two months of the season so far after suffering a previous ankle injury in September against Hoffenheim and only returned in November.
The German giants are fifth in the Bundesliga and face Inter Milan in a re-match of last season's UEFA Champions League final in the last 16 with the first leg being held in Milan on 23 February.
