Hertha sign trio

Hertha Berlin have reacted to their disastrous start to the Bundesliga by signing three players - German Florian Kringe, Colombian Adrian Ramos and Brazilian Cesar; just hours before the end of the transfer deadline on Monday.

Hertha, currently 16th on three points after four games, signed 27-year-old midfielder Kringe from Borussia Dortmund, while Swiss coach Lucien Favre snapped up 23-year-old striker Ramos from Club America de Cali where he scored 21 times in 35 games last season.

Midfielder Cesar, 30, was out of contract after two years with Dubai's Al-Ahli club and knows Favre well, having played under him at FC Zurich.
