Bundesliga strugglers Arminia Bielefeld have sacked coach Michael Frontzeck, less than 24 hours after they were beaten 6-0 by Borussia Dortmund.
The 45-year-old was appointed in January 2008.
Bielefeld are 16th in the 18-team divison, and take on Hanover next Saturday in their final game of the season.
The bottom two will be automatically relegated, while the side directly above them will go into a play-off to preserve their top-flight status.
"No decision has been taken concerning a replacement," said a statement from Bielefeld, who have gone nine games without a win.
