Bundesliga side Schalke have rejected a million euro offer (1.3 million US dollars) from Russian Premier League side Lokomotiv Moscow for striker Kevin Kuranyi.
The 27-year-old has been in erratic form this season and expressed an interest in leaving Gelsenkirchen during January's winter break, but is under contract at Schalke until 2010 and his club insists he is not for sale.
"There has been an offer, but we had to cry off," Kuranyi's adviser Roger Wittmann told German sports agency SID on Tuesday.
Having finished seventh in the Russian league last season, Moscow have been monitoring the unsettled striker who walked out on the Germany team last October after being left out of a FIFA World Cup™ qualifier.
Kuranyi joined Schalke from Stuttgart in 2005 for seven million euros (9 million US dollars) and his club are currently eighth in the German league.
