Abdennour signs permanently for Monaco

Monaco have signed centre-back Aymen Abdennour on a permanent deal following his loan spell at the Stade Louis II last season. The 24-year-old Tunisia international joined Monaco on loan from Toulouse for the second half of last season and he will now be looking to impress new boss Leonardo Jardim after penning a four-year deal to remain with the principality.

"I've spent five very good months here in Monaco and I am very proud to be part of this project. The club is ambitious," Abdennour told www.asm-fc.com.

Monaco have also revealed on Twitter that Brazilian right-back Fabinho will return for another season-long loan at the Stade Louis II. The 20-year-old Rio Ave defender spent the whole of last season with the Ligue 1 outfit and he has agreed to do the same again.
