Eden Hazard's participation in Lille's showdown with Paris Saint-Germain next weekend is in doubt after his coach, Rudi Garcia, revealed he had injured his Achilles tendon against Dijon tofay.
Hazard scored one goal and made another as Lille won 2-0 to tighten their grip on third place but the Belgian winger had to go off in the 80th minute following a foul on him by Bennard Kumordzi, who was sent off.
"I hope that he'll be back for the match against Paris next Sunday," said Garcia. "I don't know if the injury is serious or not."
With 16 goals and 13 assists to his name, Hazard has once again been Lille's outstanding performer in Ligue 1 this season. He announced in October that he would leave the club at the end of the season and says his preference would be to be play in the Premier League.
